Kakki Wright, DVM

Dr. Kakki Wright began riding horses at an early age and they have been a passion in her life ever since then. You will find her every day, rain or shine, taking care of your horses or her own. She graduated from Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990 and opened Full Circle Equine Services in 1996.
Dr. Wright provides an ambulatory practice for various farms that she services and also provides the option of in-clinic treatment. Her primary interests include, but are not limited to lameness and sports medicine. She resides at Full Circle Farm where her home, farm and practice are located. For recreation, she enjoys riding, water and snow skiing, scuba diving and spending time with her favorite person – her daughter Kali!

Kaitlin Mielnicki, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Kaitlin Mielnicki was raised in Lebanon, Ohio (a suburb of Cincinnati).  As a child, she spent her summers at camp, where she first learned to ride.  At Bowling Green State University, she rode with the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Hunt Seat team.  It was during this time in college that Dr. Mielnicki realized her dream was to become an equine veterinarian.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from BGSU  and went on to receive a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University.  Following graduation, she completed a year long Large Animal Medicine internship and a year long Large Animal Medicine residency at Purdue University.  Dr. Mielnicki enjoys all aspects of equine medicine; however, she finds gastrointestinal, neurologic and neonatal illness particularly interesting.  When she isn’t caring for her patients, she finds joy in travelling and exploring, riding, reading, and spending quality time with family, friends and her three cats (Fynn, Picasso, and Cora).

Elaine Haw, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Elaine Haw was raised on her parent’s farm in northwest TN. She has had a passion for horses since an early age when her parents gave her a pony when she was four years old and has not stopped riding since. Currently, she shows her home bred quarter horses in AQHA hunter classes.

Dr. Haw earned a B.S. in Agriculture Business from the University of Tennessee at Martin and Master of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University and then went on to graduate from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Haw comes to Full Circle Equine from an internship at Ocala Equine Hospital in Ocala, FL. She finds practicing general equine medicine very rewarding but her main professional interest is equine sports medicine where she can help the equine athletes perform at their best. Full Circle Equine is excited to have Dr. Haw join our team!

Ashley Elliott

Office/Clinic Manager

Ashley Elliott is more than the friendly voice that you hear on the phone when you call Full Circle Equine. She has the immense task of making sure that the office and clinic continue to run like a well-oiled machine. She began riding horses at the early age of just two years old and has continued pursuing her passion. She currently  shows competitively and also spends time with her three retirees. Ashley has worked in the equine veterinary field for 14 years. She combines her knowledge of equine husbandry and her clinical experience to manage Full Circle Equine in both office and clinic.
